The guide was developed for CFIs whose students are using Sporty’s award winning Learn to Fly Course. The Ultimate CFI Lesson Plan Guide also works well as a stand alone CFI resource and as a permanent record of training.

The Training Course Outline is a complete flight and ground training syllabus. The lessons utilize the building block method to take your new pilot candidate from first flight beyond solo and on through his certificate. Each lesson sheet provides video and reading assignments for the student to ensure proper preparation for the training session. It also provides a place for you to record the student’s performance and progress.
The Ground Lesson Guide is the instructor’s edition to the ground lesson content found in the TCO. The Ground Lesson Guide gives the instructor and the student an expanded and detailed explanation for the ground lessons in the TCO. It is intended to complement the TCO and Sporty’s Learn to Fly Course.
The ACS – a reproduction of the current Airman Certification Standards with a cross-reference to where the tasks are covered in the Sporty’s video content. If your student is struggling with a task in the TCO, the ACS provides you with the location of the video resources available to help him over the plateau.
Electronic versions of the TCOs and the ACS are also available as part of your student’s Learn to Fly Course or at Sportys.com/syllabus. Digital versions are included with Sporty’s online course and app. Books may also be purchased separately along with the Ground Lesson Guide for additional student uses such as lesson preparation and record keeping at Sportys.com.
The Flight Maneuvers Guide provides step-by-step instructions on performing maneuvers required on the checkride. Each maneuver begins with simplified objectives and standards for that maneuvers followed by an easy-to-follow, detailed description. An informative illustration accompanies most maneuvers so you’re able to visualize how each maneuver is to be performed prior to flight.
The Ultimate CFI Lesson Plan Guide is intended to complement and enhance the instructor’s use of Sporty’s Learn to Fly Course. It will also improve student retention and foster a more productive and efficient learning experience.
